Provides one on one guidance to address the unique challenges of caring for a loved one or family member. May focus on practical caregiving skills, understanding medical needs, or navigating available resources.
Central IntakeProvided at homeA referral that is submitted to a Central Intake team.
Central Intake calls, screens and routes the referral to its final target service.
Community Centre
Facilitates activities in a supported setting such as recreation, fitness, social, educational programs and events. Specialized programs in post-rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and nutrition education may also be available. Usually membership based.
Drop-In Centre
A friendly environment where people can go to obtain food and other services. Does not provide temporary residence.
Foot Care Clinic
Provides nursing foot care and advice for clients to address common foot problems such as thickened and fungal nails, corns, calluses, bunions.
Friendly VisitingProvided at homeOffers no charge visiting companionship such as conversation, reading, games, or crafts, while providing a safety check. The contact may be face-to-face at the client's home or through a phone call.
